The Harvard Environmental Law Review seeks to publish innovative, original scholarship that makes a significant contribution to the field of environmental law. HELR welcomes article submissions from professors, practitioners, and students year-round and makes offers for publication on a rolling basis.
Submitted articles should be between 4,200 and 6,000 words, and citations should conform to the 20th edition of The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation. Blog posts should be 500 to 1,000 words and should briefly describe a timely issue in environmental law and offer original insight.
How to submit an online article or blog post generally:
If you would like HELR to consider your article for publication, please submit the article, your CV, and a cover letter to HELR via Scholastica. If your institution does not support Scholastica submissions, you may submit your materials to our email account. We accept submissions for online scholarship on a rolling basis.
